A New Era of Urban Efficiency

DEUS supports cities worldwide with innovative solutions for emissions and traffic management

Smart cities are at the forefront of technological innovation, striving to improve the lives of their citizens, use resources more efficiently and minimise environmental impact. A key element in this mission is real-time monitoring of emissions and traffic, an approach that offers transformative benefits for urban centres worldwide. DEUS supports them in this endeavour.

Smart City

Smart Strategies for Cities worth living in

  • Public health: Monitoring and control of air pollution levels to protect public health.

  • Traffic management: Development of traffic management strategies to reduce air pollution in areas with high traffic density.

  • Infrastructure planning: Identification of green zones and pollution hotspots in urban areas.

  • Environmental planning: Information for environmental planning to minimise the impact of pollution on public health and the environment.

  • Climate measures: Developing climate action plans and reducing the impact of climate change on air quality and public health.

Our Solution

Breakthrough Technology

  • Cost-effective mobile sensors

  • Combination of mobile and stationary sensors

  • Mobile and high-resolution throughout the entire urban area

  • Collection of air data in real time and on site

  • Combination of air pollution data with meteorological and traffic data for a comprehensive analysis.

High-resolution Air Quality Networks

More than just figures

Collecting and combining real-time data:

Air quality, traffic and meteorological data in real time.

Improvement of air quality:

Identify green zones, analyse influencing factors and multiply these areas.

Improvement in transport efficiency:

Optimisation of traffic flow, reduction of traffic jams and emissions.

Impacts on the environment:

Minimising the CO2 footprint and promoting sustainability.

Responsible governance:

Decision-makers will utilise data to make informed policy adjustments.

Protecting the Children

Children deserve to play in clean and healthy air

  • Our advanced real-time data technology enables us to identify green zones in cities, ensuring a safer environment for the next generation.

  • Using this data, city planners can strategically build new kindergartens in these specially designated areas to promote the well-being and development of our children.

Micro-Green Zones

Significant local differences in air quality

Our detailed analysis shows that the areas with high PM2.5 levels are not homogeneously distributed across the entire network, but that there are large differences in the 25-metre grid due to, for example, street canyon effects.

We analyse these factors and support the authorities in creating additional green zones
